Senior Data Scientist

QinetiQ US is seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Scientist to analyze data, drive informed business decisions, and improve operational efficiency. This role involves utilizing Databricks, Qlik, Tableau, Oracle, ServiceNow, and Python to extract insights from complex datasets. The position requires clear communication of technical concepts to government clients and a focus on building deep learning/AI algorithms for resource allocation.

Requirements

• Apply appropriate mathematical methods to statistically analyze data using R or Python
• Working with Databricks, Qlik, Tableau, ArcGIS, GitHub, Oracle, ServiceNow, Microsoft Power Suite, Python programming, data visualization, and SQL
• Modeling and simulation (DES, MCA, PCA, association rule mining)
• Develop algorithms in HPC environment using custom multi-core desktop computers and Microsoft MPI
• Produce executive level summary reports/briefings using RMarkdown or Jupyter Notebook
• Perform queries, conduct analysis, and produce reports utilizing R, Databricks, SQL, MS Access, MS Excel
• Ability to obtain and maintain appropriate federal security clearance
