Senior Information Systems Security Officer

The Information Systems Security Officer manages security for classified and unclassified systems, safeguarding sensitive information. Responsibilities include researching, testing, training, and implementing security programs, conducting risk assessments, and authoring Security Plans. The role involves interacting with government leads during Authorization to Operate (ATO) and Authority to Proceed (ATP) efforts.

Requirements

• Understands the Risk Management Framework (RMF), and how risk management is executed.
• Knowledgeable on one or more cloud computing services and technologies including but not limited to: AWS, Microsoft Azure, VMware.
• Able to clearly and concisely articulate true and accurate status updates on government IT systems security posture.
• Must have a current SECRET clearance AND be clearable to TS/SCI.
