Senior Internal Communications Associate

SoFi is seeking a skilled Senior Internal Communications Associate to help connect employees across their global organization. This role focuses on crafting clear and engaging communications to make complex topics accessible and strengthens company culture, supporting employee engagement, and driving internal communication efforts. The ideal candidate is a strong writer and strategist with a proactive, solutions-oriented approach.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, public relations, or a related field.
• 4-6 years of experience in internal communications, preferably in a financial services or technology organization.
• Exceptional writing and editing skills.
• Ability to translate complex information into clear and engaging communications.
• Strong executive presence, ability to advise senior leaders.
• Experience supporting large-scale organizational change or employee engagement initiatives.
• Fluency in Spanish is a plus.
• Familiarity with internal communication tools (Simpplr, ServiceNow, Slack, Zoom).
