ServiceNow is seeking a Senior Linux System Administrator to support its US Federal customers. The role involves configuring, managing, and operating the global cloud infrastructure, ensuring availability, and proactively preventing incidents. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to the core infrastructure of a Cloud SaaS platform.
Requirements
- Expert-level skills in systems administration and engineering
- Understanding of cloud infrastructure components
- Strong Linux expertise
- 4+ years of experience with Linux (RedHat and/or CentOS)
- Experience with performance and availability monitoring and configuration management platforms (e.g. Nagios/Icinga, Cacti, Ansible, Puppet, cfengine, chef, Splunk, Logstash)
- Familiarity with MySQL, Oracle, MariaDB, or similar technologies
- Expert-level skills with service troubleshooting in a production environment
- Familiarity with Networking Technologies such as routing, switching and load balancing
