The Senior Manager, Software Engineering role is a people management and technical delivery position based in Warsaw, Poland, responsible for managing resources and ensuring delivery and operational excellence of services built on full-stack and ServiceNow technologies.
Requirements
- 8+ years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 2 years of work experience with a PhD, OR 11+ years of relevant work experience
- Experience in managing onsite and virtual teams of size 6 or more
- Experience in full stack technology, in one or more of the following technologies -.Net, Spring MVC, Spring Boot, Angular/React, JavaScript, SQL, MongoDB, Redis, Kafka and Design Patterns
- Experience with successful design, architecture and development using Hadoop large data processing systems
- Experience with Restful API development
- Experience with agile development incorporating Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery, utilizing technologies such as GIT, Maven, and Jenkins
- Ability to drive and actively engage and contribute to deep application and system architecture discussions
- Experience in developing large scale, enterprise class distributed systems of high availability, low latency, and strong data consistency
- Be systematic and be able to do deep research wanting to uncover the details
- Have good work ethics, and be a team player to bring the best results as a team

- Demonstrated ability to lead and navigate through ambiguity
