Synechron is seeking a highly experienced Senior Murex Batch Support Engineer to join our support team. This role is critical in ensuring the stability and efficiency of Murex-based batch processes, particularly during end-of-day (EOD) operations.
Requirements
- Extensive experience supporting Murex (version 3.1 or higher) in production environments
- Strong SQL skills for data analysis, issue diagnosis, and validation
- Proficiency in Unix/Linux operating systems and shell scripting (Bash/sh)
- Experience managing EOD batch processes, ensuring job success and resolving failures
- Use of ServiceNow, JIRA, or similar incident management tools
- Knowledge of cloud deployment environments (AWS, Azure)
- Additional scripting skills in Python or Perl
- Familiarity with batch monitoring tools and infrastructure automation
Requirements Summary
5+ years of experience supporting Murex batch operations in a production environment, strong scripting skills in Shell and SQL, prior experience in high-pressure support environments
