Senior ServiceNow Application Developer

Edgewater Federal Solutions seeks an experienced Senior ServiceNow Application developer to design and develop new ServiceNow applications and services. This work will be conducted onsite in Washington, DC.

Requirements

• At least five years of experience performing the functions associated with this labor category
• Experienced and proficient in the Now Create methodology
• Enterprise and/or IT Service Management
• Advanced ServiceNow System Administration
• List/Form/Navigation Pane Updates
• Creating/Updating/Maintaining/Deleting Catalog Items
• Creating/Updating/Maintaining/Deleting Workflows
• Conducting/Participating in Configuration Review
• Instance Patch Management
• Creating/Updating/Maintaining/Deleting Tables and Fields
• Demonstrated experience developing software according to the software development lifecycles (SDLCs), including DevOps, Agile, Lean, Iterative, or Waterfall.
• Demonstrated understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and secure coding principles.
• Demonstrated architecture, design, data modeling, and configuration experience with ServiceNow or similar platforms.
• Demonstrated experience developing applications: Languages such as Javascript and Angular JS. Webservices. CSS. Client-server, middleware, or web platforms. Mobile or cloud platforms.
• Demonstrated experience with relational data structures and data manipulation methods associated with relational database systems: Experience with database platforms such as Configuration Management Databases (CMDBs).
• ITIL knowledge and experience.
