Senior Site Reliability Engineer

Sabre is a technology company that powers the global travel industry. We are looking for a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to join our team in Montevideo, Uruguay. The ideal candidate will have 5-9 years of experience in IT Operations/DevOps/Application support & SRE team and strong knowledge of cloud solutions, ITIL processes, and automation expertise.

Requirements

• 5-9 years of experience in IT Operations/DevOps/Application support & SRE team
• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in Windows, UNIX/Linux platforms
• Strong knowledge of Oracle, SQL
• Hands-on expertise in Cloud Solutions, including Automations, deployments, administration & Operations, core cloud concepts & services
• ITIL certified an added advantage
• Strong Automation expertise and knowledge in any of the scripting languages, such as PERL/Shell scripting/Python
• Minimum 2-4yrs of development skills in at least.NET or Java
• Good understanding of TCP/IP and HTTP protocols and Networking, DNS/Firewalls, F5 Load balancing
• Knowledge in any DevOps tools such as Jenkins/Ansible and knowledge in any orchestration tools/languages like Groovy, Packer an added advantage
• Expertise in monitoring tools such as Grafana and/or SPLUNK, other
• Good understanding and experience in Application support
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science is required and Master’s Degree in Computer Science is preferred
