The Senior SMS Infrastructure Administrator plays a pivotal role in supporting application delivery, patch compliance, and hardware maintenance. They conduct impact and risk analysis for software and hardware releases, ensuring thorough testing and assessment before deployment. The administrator maintains desktop documentation, hardware asset inventories, and is responsible for designing, developing, and testing LAN hardware and software for deployment.
Requirements
- 4-year college degree or equivalent experience
- 4+ years’ experience performing Client Service Administration
- 6+ years of IT experience
- Strong experience providing excellent IT services within IT and to business partners
- Strong experience with word processing, e-mail, and Microsoft tools
- Experience calculating capacity needs
- Basic network knowledge
- Effective communication skills with technical and non-technical subjects
- Experience writing technical documentation
- Good analysis and critical thinking skills
- Strong understanding of macOS, Windows Operating Systems and servers
- General understanding of server administration
- Experience performing disaster recovery testing and plan documentation
- Overall understanding of IT infrastructure
- General understanding of Service Administration
- Able to be on call 24 x7
- Microsoft 365 administration, including Intune and MS Graph API
- PowerShell scripting experience
- ServiceNow ticketing system experience
- Jamf management experience
- Entra directory management experience
