Senior Solutions Architect

Holland America Line is seeking a Senior Solutions Architect to join their team. The successful candidate will design and implement high-performance, scalable architecture, and develop comprehensive error handling, disaster recovery, and high-availability strategies. They will also be responsible for ensuring all recommendations are in compliance with corporate policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Minimum of 10 years related experience
• Minimum 5 years in a corporate technology environment
• Minimum 5 years architecting cloud-based solutions
• Expertise in managing and optimizing compute and storage systems.
• Proficient in virtualization technologies and solutions.
• Experience with containerization and cloud platforms, including deployment and management.
• Knowledge of ServiceNow for IT service management and automation.
• Strong focus on Operational Excellence
• Experience in the cruise line or hospitality industry is highly desirable
• Excellent critical thinking and problem solving skills
• Experience successfully leading small-medium architectural solutioning initiatives.
• Able to review and identify technical dependencies between application and infrastructure areas.
• Highly motivated and self directed
• Working knowledge of corporate IT disciplines and group dynamics
• Ability to travel 25% of the time
