As a Technical Solutions Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in combining technical expertise with strong sales acumen to identify, qualify, and close new business opportunities across a defined portfolio of customer and partner accounts. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve close collaboration with customers, partners, and Account Managers to deliver business value, conduct demos and POC/Vs, and contribute to the success of bids and tenders.
Requirements
- 7+ years' experience as an SE or technical salesperson, or equivalent and applicable experience as a product manager, engineer, tech support agent or administrator of enterprise-grade or IT/IS software
- General knowledge or background in IT (ideally server administration, server OS configuration, TCP/IP networking hardware, protocols, LAN and WAN technologies & configurations, and network design) and/or IS (ideally PKI, firewall management, IDS & IPS, vulnerability management, and network scanners), in engineering, administration or support roles
- Familiarity with cryptographic principles, digital certificates, and PKI concepts
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, Oracle Cloud) and container technologies like Kubernetes
- Experience or familiarity with ServiceNow, GitHub, and REST API integrations
- Hands-on exposure to scripting and automation using Bash, PowerShell, Python, or similar languages
- Experience with DevOps and infrastructure automation tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, Chef)
- Self-motivated with ability to self-direct in strategic alignment with sales counterparts
- Technical, organized and analytical, with ability to eliminate sales obstacles through creative/innovative thinking
- Passion for continuous learning and applying innovative solutions to complex challenges
- Situational awareness and business acumen skills to support self-held critical values of professionalism, humility, and customer-focus
- Basic project management skills to accomplish role requirements
- Strong communications, interpersonal and presentation skills, in both written and verbal formats
- Fluency in English
