Senior SQL Server Database Administrator

CLS is a global FX trading firm seeking a Senior SQL Server Database Administrator to provide leadership and operational support for their internal Microsoft SQL database infrastructure and systems. The role involves strategic database management, technical leadership, and ensuring service continuity while working in a 24/7 on-call rotational shift.

Requirements

• Strong Operational Support experience of Microsoft SQL Server in an Enterprise Windows environment.
• Solid understanding of database disaster recovery technologies including SAN / Mirroring / Always-On / SQL replication.
• Knowledge of database structure languages, such as SQL
• Operational DBA support experience on PostgresSQL.
• Proven leadership experience.
• Experience assigning BAU and project work
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience of working with ticket systems such as ServiceNow and a solid understanding of service priorities and SLA’s.
• Strong documentation and technical writing skills.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
