Senior Staff Machine Learning Engineer

ServiceNow is seeking a Senior Staff Machine Learning Engineer to join the Virtual Agent Science team. This role focuses on developing AI/ML solutions to enhance customer experiences, improve search and conversational science, and collaborate with product teams. The team tackles the full lifecycle of conversational AI, from intent understanding to personalized responses. The team is experienced in building and maintaining large-scale data pipelines and building new products.

Requirements

• Proficient in prompt engineering and developing LLM based features
• Experience with methods of training and fine-tuning large language models
• Experience using Al productivity tools such as Cursor, Windsurf, etc.
• 10+ years of related experience with a bachelor's degree or equivalent
• Experience building new products that use challenging algorithms
• Expertise in coding efficient, object-oriented, modularized and quality software
