Senior Staff Software Engineer (backend)

ServiceNow is seeking an experienced Software Development Engineer to join the Core Platform team. This role involves building high-quality, scalable software to power innovative AI-enhanced technology for thousands of customers. The ideal candidate will focus on solving engineering problems and driving operational excellence within a dynamic environment, collaborating with product owners to drive new features and enhance existing products.

Requirements

• Advanced knowledge with data structures, algorithms, object-oriented design, design patterns, and performance/scale considerations
• Advanced knowledge experience working with relational databases including development, troubleshooting and performance optimization
• Experience with multiple technology stacks: Cloud Dev, Platforms, Web Dev, Frameworks or service-oriented architecture
