Senior Systems Engineer - Federal

Senior Systems Engineer - Federal position involves building software tools to automate deployment and testing of compute infrastructure, scaling critical services, and applying test-driven development principles.

Requirements

• Experience in leveraging or critically thinking about how to integrate AI into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving
• 4+ years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree; or 3 years and a Master's degree; or equivalent work experience
• Familiarity with OpenStack
• A strong background in programming with Python
• A strong background in Linux systems architecture and engineering
• Experience managing infrastructure as code with terraform
• Experience with applying a configuration management platform such as Puppet at scale
• Understanding of core concepts around Kubernetes and Docker
• Prior experience in software development or release management is highly desirable
• Familiarity with virtualization and cloud infrastructure technologies
