Senior Systems Engineer

Leidos is looking for a Senior Systems Engineer with a TS/SCI clearance to support work on an information technology contract. The Systems Engineer will analyze internal and external client needs and construct sound, logical business improvement opportunities. They will provide ongoing maintenance, support, and enhancements in existing systems and platforms, troubleshoot complex problems, and provide customer support for software systems and application issues.

Requirements

• TS/SCI clearance with polygraph
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or related field
• 12+ years of experience in software engineering or 15+ years of experience in lieu of degree
• Experience in IP Related Services: TCP/IP, UDP, ICMP, PPP, and SIP
• Knowledge of Cisco routers and switches
• Experience with UPS systems and AD/DC power systems
• Working knowledge of CAT5, CAT6 cable, connectors, and demonstrated capability of fabrication of equipment
• Knowledge of fiber, servers, routers, edge switches, and desktop hardware
• JIRA, ServiceNow, Remedy, VISIO, and MS Office
