This role involves designing and delivering user-centric interfaces, user workflows, and design solutions for ServiceNow applications. The ideal candidate will have strong understanding of industry trends and best practices in service design, excellent communication, and overall design skillsets.

Requirements

  • Design and deliver user-centric interfaces, user workflows, and design solutions for ServiceNow applications
  • Build custom dashboards based on data models and external data sources
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, developers, and product owners to translate business requirements into functional designs
  • Customize ServiceNow forms, portals, widgets, and dashboards using Service Portal, UI Policies, UI Scripts, and other relevant tools
  • Work closely with developers to guide the implementation of UI components using ServiceNow Studio, UI Builder, and scoped applications
  • Collaborate effectively with other ServiceNow developers to develop solutions and handle general updates, configuration changes/requests to ensure functional and visually appealing outputs
  • Understand the business needs and the needs to standardize processes into standard ServiceNow design practices
  • Strong partnership experience with the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams, product managers, and stakeholders to ensure alignment and effective communication
  • Continuously optimize designs based on user feedback and analytics
  • Present and walk through your design solutions in team and management meetings, and leadership presentations
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather user requirements and translate them into modern, user-friendly interfaces
  • Perform continuous improvements on existing interfaces to enhance user experience based on user feedback and analytics
  • Stay updated on UI/UX best practices and incorporate industry trends into design and development processes
  • Provide technical documentation and knowledge transfer to team members as needed

Requirements Summary

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field; hands-on experience designing within the ServiceNow platform Design System; demonstrated experience creating and customizing widgets using the Service Portal Widget Editor; and strong understanding of industry trends and best practices in service design
