Site Reliability Engineer III

Verisign helps secure the internet with its internet infrastructure services. They are seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to lead their team in building, managing, and scaling operational infrastructure for mission-critical applications. The ideal candidate will be a strong technical individual with a problem-solving mindset and a commitment to teamwork.

Requirements

• Participate in technical designs for software solutions
• Installation, configuration, and maintenance of production, QA, and development environments
• Development of deployment automation tools (Ansible)
• Development of enabling infrastructure with Terraform
• Coordination with other technical staff for system implementation
• Performance of operational support functions
• Documentation processes, procedures, configurations, and deployment plans
• Reporting progress to management
• Participate in a 24x7 on call rotation
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
• 5+ years of experience developing and operating mission-critical systems
