Software Asset Management Compliance Specialist

Mercury Insurance is seeking a Software Asset Management (SAM) Compliance Specialist to ensure the organization's software assets are managed and utilized in compliance with vendor agreements and regulatory requirements. This role involves overseeing SAM policies, performing audits, mitigating risks, and supporting continuous process improvement. Requirements

• Ensure adherence to software licensing terms and vendor agreements.
• Develop, implement, and enforce SAM compliance policies and procedures.
• Plan and execute periodic internal software compliance audits.
• Coordinate responses to external vendor audits and manage remediation activities.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all software assets, licenses, and entitlements.
• Identify potential compliance risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
• Proactively monitor changes in licensing models or regulations.
• Work closely with procurement, IT, and legal departments to support software procurement and negotiations.
• Provide guidance and training to staff regarding SAM best practices and compliance requirements.
