Software Asset Management (SAM) Capability Lead - (open to remote across ANZ)

Join Canva's IT Platform Group as a Software Asset Management (SAM) Capability Lead to design, build, and scale a SAM capability. The role involves setting up processes, standing up tools, and integrating SAM into existing workflows. You'll work closely with teams to ensure accurate inventory data, run usage reviews, and spot cost opportunities. Experience in SAM, SaaS management, tech cost optimisation, or IT operations is required, with a minimum of 5-8+ years of experience.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with SAM/SaaS platforms like Zylo, Torii, Flexera, or ServiceNow SAM
• Deep understanding of SaaS license models, usage metrics, and renewal planning
• Proven track record in standing up a capability or process from scratch
• Strong communication and collaboration across tech, procurement, finance, and business stakeholders
