Software Engineer - I (COBOL, CA Gen, Endevor, CICS, DB2, IMS)

Travelers is seeking a Software Engineer I to join their organization as they grow and transform their Technology landscape. The individual will complete intermediate end-to-end engineering tasks for specific system assignments.

Requirements

• Three years of programming/development experience
• Expertise in CA Gen and COBOL for application development
• Extensive experience with DB2, including its concepts such as binds and indexes and utilities
• Basic understanding of IMS and Oracle databases
• Proficient in SQL for database management and manipulation
• Working knowledge of CICS, IBM MQs and RACF for security management
• Experience with Jira, SailPoint, and ServiceNow
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Intermediate delivery skills
• Domain expertise including understanding of technical concepts necessary to do the job effectively
• Proven problem-solving skills including debugging skills
• Strong communication skills
• Intermediate leadership skills
