Software Engineer - Service Now

We are seeking a Software Engineer - Service Now to join our team in Melbourne, AU. The role is responsible for the design, development, and quality of software solutions changes. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in UI and API development, with hands-on experience in JavaScript (ES6), SPA development, and Spring-based API solutions.

Requirements

• A strong foundation in both UI and API development, with hands-on experience in JavaScript (ES6), SPA development, and Spring-based API solutions
• Practical knowledge of React, microservices architecture, Java 8, and containerization (Docker)
• Solid exposure to CI/CD pipelines and modern software delivery practices
• Experience in ServiceNow platform administration, scripting, workflow design, and building automation solutions—including Certificate Life Cycle Management
• Ability to create integrations using SOAP/REST and develop scalable, efficient web applications
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a track record of resolving incidents and implementing long-term fixes
• Comfortable collaborating with geographically distributed teams and communicating effectively with stakeholders
• Working knowledge of Agile methodologies and ITSM processes such as Incident, Problem, and Change Management
• A growth mindset, eagerness to learn, and a commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes
