We are seeking a Software Engineer to join our growing team in Chantilly, Virginia. As a Software Engineer, you will have the opportunity to build tailored technical solutions to modernize our government's mission and our client's business. You will work on architecting critical IT solutions, developing cutting-edge technology, and collaborating with teams to deliver impact to the mission.
Requirements
- A minimum of eleven (11) years of relevant experience
- Experience with deploying, updating, and managing AWS cloud infrastructure platforms
- Ability to write, update, and deploy Infrastructure as Code technologies
- Experience with AWS Lambda or other equivalent serverless technology
- Proficient in GIT for version control and collaborative software development
- Strong understanding of CI/CD methodologies
- Ability to write scripts in JavaScript, Bash, and Python for automation and software development tasks
- Understanding of TCP/IP networking protocols and principles
- Ability to efficiently and appropriately estimate work effort requirements
- Ability to communicate effectively through written and verbal methods
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Ability work independently and in a team environment
- Able to adapt to a constantly changing environment
- Aptitude and willingness to work with variety of newer emerging technologies/tools
- Ability to deliver enhance functionality, aid with new implementations, and provide continuous support within the scheduled time while preserving system integrity required
- High degree of initiative, creativity, and technical ability to function on this team is required
- Ability to identify issues and implement corrective actions
- Should work toward achieving ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) cert while on task
