Software License Manager

Link Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Software License Manager to join their team at Adelphi, MD. The Software License Manager will play a critical role in managing the lifecycle of software assets, ensuring license compliance, optimizing software investments, and supporting IT governance goals.

Requirements

• Must be a US Citizen
• DoD Secret Clearance required
• Non-remote (relocation incentive available)
• Must have an active DoD Security Clearance
• Must have a BA/BS Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field with a comprehensive understanding of computer science concepts
• Five (5+) years of relevant experience working in IT software asset management, IT procurement, or related fields
• IAT Level II Certification equivalent or higher per DoD 8570/DoD 8140 (CompTIA Security+ CE, CCNA Security, GICSP, GSEC, SSCP, etc.)
• Ability to plan and implement large-scale network configurations and upgrades while minimizing downtime
• Preferred: Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) v4 certification
• Experience with incident management within the ServiceNow Information Technology Service Management (ITSM) platform
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products
• Experience creating and modifying documentation for technical processes and procedures
• Experience working in a Department of Defense (DoD) environment
• A problem solver and troubleshooter who thrives in resolving complex problems
• Strong self-starter requiring minimal supervision
• Excellent communication skills (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
• Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
