Contribute to desktop-related projects, implement and maintain standardized desktop configurations, and proactively identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of desktop support services.
Requirements
- Supports and maintains the enterprise end user computing platforms ensuring high performance and reliability.
- Plan, design and implement standardized desktop architectures and process improvements, exercising independent judgment on system requirements.
- Advanced research and troubleshooting of workstation related problems to determine root cause and implement permanent solutions.
- Interface with vendors for support and ordering as necessary.
- Document solutions to command issues and share with others.
- Provide support and backup to Desktop Lead.
- Serves as the escalation point for Helpdesk agents/technicians for enterprise desktop infrastructure issues.
- Prepares technical performance and utilization reports as required
