Job description
Tapestry is seeking a Sr. Manager, People Operations for North Asia to oversee HR operations in Japan and Korea. This role focuses on aligning local/regional objectives with global strategies, ensuring compliance, and fostering continuous improvement. The manager will work closely with regional leadership, stakeholders, and employees to deliver seamless HR services and drive strategic initiatives, with a team of 5-6. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Japanese and English and experience with HR systems like Workday and ServiceNow.
Requirements
- Fluent Japanese and English
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- 8+ years of HR operations experience
- Knowledge of Japan and Korea employment laws
- Ownership and process-driven mindset
- Analytical skills (data analysis, reporting)
