The Sr. SAM Technical Specialist will manage software asset compliance, optimize license usage, and ensure accurate software inventory. This role will support the SAM team by driving compliance monitoring, entitlement reconciliation, and SaaS integration within ServiceNow SAM Pro. The individual contributor will work on data analysis, vendor audit support, and process improvement.
Requirements
- Strong proficiency with Excel and data analysis.
- Working knowledge of SQL for reporting and reconciliation.
- Licensing knowledge of major software publishers (Microsoft, Oracle, IBM, etc.).
- ITIL familiarity with proven ability to apply ITIL principles within SAM processes.
- Demonstrated ability to translate licensing and ITIL knowledge into ServiceNow SAM Pro outcomes.
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Capable of working under pressure during audits and true-up cycles.
