SRE Specialist

Fortinet is seeking an intermediate SRE Specialist to join their MIS operation team, focused on managing consumer-facing services and ensuring high availability. The role involves administering Linux servers, monitoring performance, applying security updates, implementing CI/CD pipelines, and providing on-call support. They are looking for someone to join an experienced team on innovative technologies.

Requirements

• 3+ years of practical administration experience in Linux (RHEL, Ubuntu)
• 3+ years of administration experience in Virtualized environments (e.g., VMware ESXi)
• 3+ years of practical experience with automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform)
• Knowledge of configuring physical servers & network appliances
• Knowledge of monitoring network/server systems (e.g., Zabbix, ServiceNow)
• Knowledge of observability tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack)
• Knowledge of industry-standard protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, HTTPS, DNS, LDAP)
• Knowledge of deployment automation in physical and virtual environments
• Knowledge of at least one scripting language (e.g., Bash, Python, Go)
• Knowledge of the CIS security controls and hardening Operating System and applications
• Highly organized and able to multi-task
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong understanding of system security practices
• Excellent problem-solving skills
