SRE Specialist

Fortinet is seeking an intermediate SRE Specialist to join their MIS operation team, focusing on managing consumer-facing services with high traffic volumes. The role involves Linux system administration, network and device management, automation, and on-call support, with a strong emphasis on security and reliability. Requirements

• 3+ years of practical administration experience in Linux (RHEL, Ubuntu)
• 3+ years of administration experience in Virtualized environments (e.g., VMware ESXi)
• 3+ years of practical experience with automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform)
• Knowledge of configuring physical servers & network appliances (e.g., Dell, HP, Fortinet)
• Knowledge of monitoring network/server systems (e.g., Zabbix, ServiceNow)
• Knowledge of observability tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack)
• Knowledge of industry-standard protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, HTTPS, DNS, LDAP)
• Knowledge of deployment automation in physical and virtual environments.
• Knowledge of at least one scripting language (e.g., Bash, Python, Go)
• Knowledge of the CIS security controls and hardening Operating System and applications
• A degree or technical diploma in Computer Science, Electrical and Computer Engineering, or a related field.
