Staff AI Security Engineer

ServiceNow is seeking a Staff AI Security Engineer to pioneer new approaches to secure AI development, building systems that govern safe agent interactions. This role involves designing defenses, mitigating risks, and developing scalable security frameworks to ensure the trustworthiness of AI-powered agents and LLMs. The ideal candidate will contribute to the long-term AI security roadmap and establish new standards within the company.

Requirements

• B.Sc degree or M.Sc in Computer Science, or a related technical field
• 4 years of experience with security assessments, design reviews or threat modeling
• 4 years of experience in security engineering, computer and network security and security protocols
• 5 years of programming experience in Java or Python
• Hands-on experience with agentic AI frameworks (e.g., LangChain, LangGraph)
• Proactive and collaborative mindset
• Passion for continuous learning and a drive to solve complex challenges
