Staff Data Platform Software Engineer

ServiceNow is seeking a Staff Data Platform Software Engineer to join the Analytics Team. The role focuses on building and optimizing data pipelines, semantic layers, and data applications, enhancing data accessibility and usability, and delivering scalable, reliable, and high-performance solutions. Requirements

• 10+ years of experience with Java or similar OO language.
• Expertise with Lakehouse, Iceberg, delta tables, hudi, data pipelines, declarative pipelines, Spark, Flink, Big data, Semantic model, Data modeling, Star schemas, Snowflake, OLAP, Data cloud, Data fabric.
• Experience with relational databases: Oracle, MySQL, MariaDB, and/or PostgreSQL, Snowflake or Databricks.
• Strong understanding of SQL and query development.
• Familiarity with Unix shell.
