ServiceNow is seeking a Staff Data Platform Software Engineer to join their Analytics Team. This role involves building and optimizing data pipelines and applications, enhancing data accessibility, and leveraging advanced technologies like Spark and Big data to deliver scalable and reliable solutions. The team focuses on improving the efficiency and accuracy of data flows across the organization.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience with Java or similar OO language.
- Experience with Lakehouse, Iceberg, delta tables, hudi, data pipelines, Spark, Flink, Big data, Semantic model, Data modeling, Star schemas, Snowflake, OLAP, Data cloud, Data fabric.
- Expert level understanding of object-oriented and modularized software, with an emphasis on Java.
- Experience with relational databases: Oracle, MySQL, MariaDB, and/or PostgreSQL, Snowflake or Databricks.
- Strong understanding of SQL and query development.
- Familiarity with Unix shell.
