This Staff Database Engineer position is a key role within ServiceNow's Software Action Team, focused on ensuring the stability and performance of production databases. The role involves performance tuning, query optimization, and troubleshooting complex systems under dynamic loads. Requirements
- 6+ years of Database performance tuning on PostgreSQL / MySQL / MariaDB
- 6+ years of experience supporting or testing large-scale web-based distributed applications
- 6+ years of hands-on experience working on a SaaS, PaaS, or Cloud Infrastructure product/solution
- Unix skills including development, navigation, file manipulation, permissions, searching/finding files and text contents, and administrative actions
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
