Staff Engineer- DevOps - Hadoop Big Data - Federal

ServiceNow is seeking a Staff DevOps Engineer to support its US Federal Government Cloud Infrastructure. This 2nd shift position involves deploying, monitoring, maintaining, and supporting Big Data infrastructure. The role is critical in ensuring ServiceNow can meet performance SLAs and data storage capacity. The team focuses on monitoring, analytics, and actionable business insights for Cloud Operations, Customer Support, and Product Usage Analytics.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience working with Hadoop/Big Data ecosystems
• Deep understanding of Kubernetes architecture
• Experience supporting CI/CD pipelines for automated applications
• Strong scripting skills in Bash, Python
• Proficient with Git and version control systems
• Familiarity with Cloudera Data Platform (CDP) and its ecosystem
