Staff Software Engineer - Backend (Persistence)

ServiceNow is seeking a Staff Data Platform Software Engineer with a focus on the Persistence organization to build the backbone of its AI Platform. This role involves innovating to enhance data quality, scale, and performance, while focusing on core data architecture, querying relational databases (like CMDB), and platform technologies at scale. The team is responsible for writing SQL generation into PostgreSQL, MariaDB, and Oracle databases and managing database metadata.

Requirements

• Experience with AI-powered tools and automating workflows.
• Troubleshooting and optimizing complex production issues.
• Bachelor's degree or Master's degree; 6+ years experience.
