Staff Software Engineer

ServiceNow is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to help shape the future of intelligent search by building a consumer-grade search engine. This role will focus on designing, implementing, and integrating advanced text search solutions, incorporating GenAI technologies, and building robust, modular tools. The position involves collaboration, mentorship, and delivering powerful search experiences.

Requirements

• Experience with Java or a similar OO language
• 8+ years of experience with a Bachelor's degree or 6+ years with an equivalent experience
• Passion for JavaScript and the Web
• Experience with data structures, algorithms, object-oriented design, design patterns, and performance/scale considerations
• Experience with UI frameworks like Angular, React or Vue
