ServiceNow is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to join their team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience developing custom applications on the ServiceNow platform, including familiarity with platform APIs, data modeling, and scoped app development. They will work on designing software that is simple to use, contribute to the design and implementation of new products and features, and mentor colleagues to promote knowledge-sharing.
Requirements
- Strong experience developing custom applications on the ServiceNow platform, including deep familiarity with platform APIs, data modeling, and scoped app development.
- Solid proficiency with JavaScript and working knowledge of Python, especially for automation and integration workflows.
- A systems-oriented mindset with hands-on experience in Linux OS environments, ideally with exposure to infrastructure patching or server maintenance workflows.
- Understanding of data structures, system design, and performance considerations in enterprise software environments.
- Familiarity with UI Builder or other low-code/no-code tooling within ServiceNow (nice to have).
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to design and implement scalable, maintainable solutions.
- Comfort owning technical projects and working collaboratively across teams, including infrastructure and operations groups.

Benefits
- Base pay of $163,600 - $286,300, plus equity (when applicable), variable/incentive compensation and benefits.
