Staff Systems Engineer - Federal

ServiceNow is seeking a Staff Systems Engineer to help scale computing infrastructure and deploy testing. This role involves building software tools to automate deployment and testing, contributing to continuous delivery, researching new technologies, and collaborating with peer teams. This position requires passing background checks and attending on-site team meetings.

Requirements

• 8+ years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree or 6+ years with a Master's degree; or equivalent work experience
• Familiarity with OpenStack
• Strong background in programming with Python
• Strong background in Linux systems architecture and engineering
• Experience with terraform
• Experience with configuration management platform such as Puppet at scale
• Understanding of core concepts around Kubernetes and Docker
• Familiarity with virtualization and cloud infrastructure technologies
