ServiceNow is seeking a Strategic Sourcing Manager to lead the development of supplier negotiation strategies and manage the sourcing and contracting processes for IT hardware, IaaS, and global support/maintenance services. The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of sourcing experience and expertise in industry leading suppliers such as Dell, Cisco, and IBM.
Requirements
- Experience in leveraging or critically thinking about how to integrate AI into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving.
- Category Management and Contract Execution: Partner with internal stakeholders on clarifying short and long-term IT hardware, IaaS, and global support/maintenance sourcing requirements.
- Supplier Relationship Management: Lead commercial and contractual requirements across ServiceNow’s IT Hardware supplier profile.
- RFx Management: Supplier interface for all RFI, RFP and RFQs.
- Competitive Benchmarking and Market Research: Stay up to date on IT Hardware and IaaS market dynamics to ensure Category is properly managed.
- Sustainability Initiatives: Collaborate with internal Sustainability teams to support Sustainability requirements with suppliers.
- 7+ years of sourcing experience within the IT hardware, IaaS, and global support/maintenance services categories, preparing cost models, negotiating with suppliers, and presenting recommendations to stakeholders and Executive Leadership.
- Experience working with industry leading suppliers such as Dell, Cisco, Juniper, IBM, Apple, Lenovo and value-added resellers, etc.
- Experience working within the client and peripherals/consumables sourcing category.
- Knowledge of hardware leasing (i.e., printers, MFP devices, laptops, etc.).
