System Administrator (CSE II)

Aetos Systems, Inc. is seeking a System Administrator (CSE II) to manage and maintain their IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree, technical knowledge, strong problem-solving skills, and experience working with various systems and technologies.

Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree is required, plus two years’ experience or a Master’s Degree in Engineering and one year of relevant experience.
• Experience working with Windows Server 2019/2022, Windows 10/11, Microsoft AD and GPO, RHEL 8/9, Ubuntu 18-24 LTS, SQL, VMware.
• Prior experience with Splunk/ELK, BigFix, Tenable, smart card auth, or other gov/regulated environments.
• Experienced with performing patch and vulnerability management.
• Experienced with troubleshooting applications and end user device issues, servers, and databases.
• Familiar with networking concepts to include, but not limited to, VLANs, firewalls, subnets, DNS, and IPv4.
• Familiar with Azure/AWS/Google cloud computing concepts.
• Experience with device configuration and installations such as desktops, servers, DC’s, PDU’s, UPS, etc.
• Experience working with PowerShell, Backup solutions, Maximo, ServiceNow.
• Familiar with automation tools.
• Experience with Microsoft Windows OS, and Linux
• Experience with SIEM, and flaw remediation tools.
• Experience troubleshooting network related issues
