The Systems Engineer is responsible for managing the Change Management and Incident Management processes within the IT environment, ensuring seamless implementation of IT changes while maintaining service availability through effective incident response.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Change Management, Incident Management, or IT Service Management (ITSM)
- Strong understanding of ITIL Change & Incident Management processes
- Experience with ITSM tools such as ServiceNow, BMC Remedy, Jira, Splunk, PagerDuty
- Ability to perform risk assessment and impact analysis for IT changes and incidents
- Crisis management and decision-making skills in high-pressure situations
- Strong stakeholder communication and coordination abilities across technical and business teams
- Hands-on experience in cloud-based, DevOps, and Agile environments
- Knowledge of cybersecurity incident handling and risk management
