Systems Engineer

DMI is seeking a Systems Engineer to provide technical support for end-user computing environments, system configuration, and IT service delivery for users at the Pentagon and Mark Center. The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering or related field and 5+ years of experience in systems engineering or desktop engineering in a DoD or federal environment.

Requirements

• Provide engineering support for desktop and mobile computing systems, including configuration, deployment, and troubleshooting.
• Ensure systems are compliant with DoD cybersecurity requirements, including installation and verification of Data-at-Rest (DAR) encryption and secure configurations.
• Support the integration of new technologies and software into the enterprise environment.
• Collaborate with help desk and VIP support teams to resolve escalated technical issues.
• Maintain documentation of system configurations, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and work instructions (WIs).
• Assist in the planning and execution of system upgrades, patches, and lifecycle refreshes.
• Participate in asset management activities, including tagging, tracking, and disposition of IT equipment.
• Provide technical input for process improvements and participate in working groups as needed.
