The Systems Engineer, Library Development Operations will be responsible for managing library applications and servers, deploying updates, identifying production issues, and implementing integrations that meet our customers’ needs.
Requirements
- Build and implement new development tools and infrastructure to automate development and release processes
- Deploy updates and fixes to ensure systems are safe and secure against cybersecurity threats
- Collaborate with campus-wide technology services to ensure proper implementation and management of hardware infrastructures
- Write and maintain documentation for systems architecture and application code
- Participate in iterative testing and integration of user feedback throughout the development and implementation processes
- Maintain awareness of national and international best practices and advances in library applications, frameworks, and implementations
