Technical Project Manager

Steampunk is seeking a Technical Project Manager who is creative and a hands-on expert with delivering innovative technology solutions. The role involves team leadership, Agile Project Management support, and Scrum Master support for Agile teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline
• 10+ years of progressive experience supporting Cloud Platform infrastructure, virtualization, and cloud integration in large-scale enterprise or federal environments
• Recognized expertise in virtualization platforms, cloud platforms, and infrastructure automation tools
• Demonstrated experience supporting mission-critical data center operations, including disaster recovery planning, high availability, and operational scripting
• Experience advising senior government IT leadership on infrastructure modernization and automation strategies
• Strong judgment, negotiation skills, organizational, and analytical skills
• Experience working in a complex engineering environment with prior experience as a technical project manager
• Ability to establish trust with a variety of stakeholders and customers
• Self-managed and self-starter, ability to work independently
• Thrives to be a leader
• Exceptionally strong written and verbal communication skills
• Must have and maintain an active certification
• Ability to hold a position of public trust with the US government
