Farm Credit Bank of Texas is seeking a Technical Support Analyst to support the operation of its help desk and provide customer-level technical assistance to computer systems, hardware, network, and software issues. The role involves resolving issues, documenting processes, and proactively engaging in alternate work when the primary intake method is low. The position is for a hybrid work location, approximately 30 minutes from downtown Austin.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree, or technical institute degree/certificate in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or two to four years of experience.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills.
  • Strong technical understanding of Windows OS and macOS/Linux.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server Platforms, Active Directory, Group Policy, and Office 365.
  • Working understanding of networking: TCP/IP, LAN / WAN, DHCP, DNS, VPN, Routing, Switching, and Proxy/Firewalls.
  • Working knowledge of ITSM/ticketing tools (e.g., ServiceNow).
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
