Makpar is seeking a Tier 2 Service Desk Specialist to join their growing team. The role involves diagnosing, resolving, and contributing to the improvement of service desk operations, and requires experience in a desk-side support environment. The service desk should be focused on incident response, update, handoff, and resolution, contributing to SLAs, and troubleshooting problems. Makpar provides cloud engineering, data management, cybersecurity, and emerging technologies solutions to government clients.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of experience in IT hardware and software support
  • Possible travel up to 10% (up to 4 hours away)
  • US Citizen or Legal Permanent Resident (Green Card status) with 3 years of Federal Tax compliance
  • Servicenow, or other IT help desk ticketing systems
  • Microsoft Office / Microsoft 365
