The User Account Technician (UAT) position at OHSU provides technical support for user accounts, managing access controls, and collaborating on key process improvements. This role supports OHSU's digital infrastructure and ensures secure access to networks, email, and applications. The UAT works closely with the Information Technology Group, OHSU Office of the Information Privacy and Security Officer, and ITG security teams to maintain data security and operational integrity.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field
  • One year of hands-on experience in a network environment providing user access and support
  • Experience with Enterprise account administration (AD User and Group Administration, Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft Active Directory Administrator)
  • Proficiency with Active Directory using knowledge of user account and access management
  • Experience with Jira or ServiceNow
  • Familiarity with Oracle, in a large scale network environment
  • Experience with SharePoint and Jira Forms
  • Understanding of process automation with PowerShell or other programming/scripting technologies

Requirements Summary

Bachelor's degree in CS or similar, 1-3 years of network admin experience, proficiency in Active Directory & Jira, and strong organizational skills. Some experience in Oracle is needed
