Vice President, Production Services Application Support I

BNY is seeking a Vice President of Production Services Application Support I to join their Assest Servicing Engineerig team in Chennai. This role involves providing technical support to internal and external clients, troubleshooting applications, and contributing to knowledge base development. The position requires a proactive problem-solver with strong communication and teamwork skills. It is weekend coverage with expectation of 3 days a week and 2 weekends.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent work experience
• 10-12 years of experience in applications support or production environment
• Experience in securities or financial services
• Linux and Unix operating system experience
• Good experience with ServiceNow Portal and change management procedures
• Experience with SOA / API based S/W development
• Exposure on container-based development and deployment
• Experience with Kafka messaging system
• Monitoring tools like Splunk
• Experience with mainframe skills
