Orion Innovation is seeking a skilled Application Support Engineer to join their team. The role involves supporting enterprise applications on Windows Server environments, troubleshooting SQL, and working with Microsoft Azure platforms. The ideal candidate will provide L2/L3 support, write SQL queries, and contribute to root cause analysis.

Requirements

  • 3–6 years of hands-on experience in Application Support or related IT roles.
  • Strong expertise in Windows Server (2016/2019) administration and troubleshooting.
  • Proficiency in SQL Server (T-SQL), including writing queries, joins, and stored procedure analysis.
  • Good understanding of IIS, Windows services, and application deployment on Windows environments.
  • Experience with incident, change, and problem management processes (ITIL preferred).
  • Exposure to cloud platforms, especially Microsoft Azure (App Services, SQL, Monitoring) is desirable.
  • Familiarity with ticketing tools like ServiceNow, Jira, or BMC Remedy.
  • Excellent analytical thinking, communication, and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work in a rotational shift or on-call support schedule when required.
  • Basic scripting knowledge (PowerShell, Python, or Batch scripting).

Requirements Summary

3-6 years of IT experience, strong Windows Server & SQL Server skills. ITIL experience preferred. Scripting and communication skills are needed
