Asset Analyst, IT

Join Ampol as an Asset Analyst, responsible for managing the lifecycle of IT hardware assets across the organisation, ensuring accurate tracking, reporting, and optimization of physical IT assets. The role plays a critical part in maintaining data integrity in the ServiceNow Configuration Management Database (CMDB) and Asset Management modules.

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in IT Asset Management, preferably in a mid-to-large enterprise environment.
• Strong understanding of hardware and software asset lifecycle and inventory management principles.
• Knowledge of ITIL practices, particularly IT Asset Management and Configuration Management.
• Tool Proficiency: Experience working with ServiceNow, particularly Asset Management and CMDB modules.
• Ability to interpret and analyse data, and present clear, actionable insights.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Skilled in creating reports, dashboards, and insights to monitor asset performance, compliance and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Strong skills in planning, prioritizing, and managing projects related to asset management initiatives
